Fatimah Muhammad, D.Min. is a psychometrist and therapist who provides psychological assessment services and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults. Utilizing a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) perspective, she incorporates a systemic approach that considers the impact of family relationships, life experiences, culture, and environmental influences on emotional and behavioral well-being. Dr. Muhammad earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University, her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Mercer University School of Medicine, and her Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University. She has extensive experience conducting psychoeducational and psychological evaluations, with specialized experience assessing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. Her professional background also includes working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, spiritual healing, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Dr. Muhammad attended Xavier University of Louisiana, however, Hurricane Katrina redirected her educational journey to Atlanta, Georgia, where she spent nearly 20 years completing her education and building her clinical career. She has recently relocated to the Dallas, Texas, area and is passionate about serving individuals and families throughout the community. Although she enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, she has a special passion for helping children and adolescents reach their full potential through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment, and collaborative care. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Muhammad enjoys interior decorating, hiking, developing skincare products, discovering vegan restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
